A powerful showman on the swing dance circuit, Robert Cordoba is an inventive professional swing dancer and instructor. A 7-time U.S. Open Swing Dance Champion, Robert is a veteran dance competitor, first appearing on the swing dance circuit in 1990. Robert capitalizes on over 30 years of training and performing in International Latin. He combines a powerful refined style with a wide variety of polished open and closed movements. To his credit Robert has performed in numerous shows and commercials. He along with his partner Deborah have continually averaged about 40 weekends a year traveling both nationally and internationally to spread West Coast Swing. They are among the first pioneers to take, teach and perform West Coast Swing exclusively in Europe and the South Pacific. They have helped get it firmly entrenched in many countries including, England, Scotland, France, New Zealand and Australia & Canada. They also were asked to be advisors to the first ever WC Swing Club in Australia. Robert's teaching style is very relaxed while remaining highly informative and technique oriented which has been the foundation of his success.

His multitude of accomplishments include but are not limited to: Both, World Swing Dance Council & California Swing Dance Hall Of Famer. A 7x U..S Open Swing Dance Champion (First person to win 3 consecutive titles and 1 of only 3 males to ever win both the Showcase & Classic Divisions). Has never placed less than top 6 at the U.S. Open. 4x consecutive Grand Nationals Champion. 4x consecutive N.A.S.D.E. overall Champion titles. Has essentially won the Classic or Showcase Division at every major Championship across the nation multiple times. Has been a judge or Head Judge at many of the top National Swing Championships including the U.S. Open and the U.S. Grand Nationals. Has also D.J.'d at several National Swing Conventions

He has lived in the U.K. and competed in International Latin while training with the top coaches in the World. He represented the U.S. in many events throughout Europe and was a member of the Bronze Medal winning U.S. Latin Formation team at the Ballroom Formation Team World Championships.

He was also a Dance Fever Grand Finalist (3rd place overall) and has danced in commercials as well as on TV. He and Deborah also choreographed the wedding dance for Danny Elfman & Bridget Fonda.
